Meek Mill is fresh off the release of CHAMPIONSHIPS, his fourth studio album and first album following his release from prison. The rapper didn't disappoint on the 19-track project which included unexpected collaborations alongside Cardi B, Jay-Z, and his former nemesis Drake. Meek and The 6ix God linked up on the project's highlight, "Going Bad" which is now Drake's 33rd top 10 single and Meek's first.
Meek Mill landed his first song on the Billboard Hot 100 top 10 with "Going Bad." The track debuted all the way at #6 on the Billboard chart. "Going Bad" is Meek's first collaboration with Drake since their falling out in 2015. It marks the first time Meek Mill has ever entered the Billboard Hot 100 top 10.
Meek Mill's been on a heavy promo run since he dropped the project at the end of November. The rapper took to Funk Flex last week where he flipped "Back To Back," Drake's diss song towards him, and flipped it into one of the best freestyles on Hot 97 this year. Meek Mill also encouraged Funk Flex to apologize to Drake on air -- which he did.
Aside from his new top 10 single, the rapper is getting ready to hit the road at the top of 2019 for the "Motivation" tour. The tour kicks off in Miami on Feb 19th before concluding in Atlanta on March 24th. Peep the tour dates here.
