The decision was made in light of the "Leaving Neverland" documentary.

As part of the Louis Vuitton summer menswear collection designed by Off-White founder Virgil Abloh, there were supposed to be some pieces that were inspired by Michael Jackson. It was an interesting collection that has ultimately been pulled by Louis Vuitton in light of the recent controversy caused by the Leaving Neverland documentary, according to SPIN. The documentary in question takes a look at the alleged sexual abuse allegations against Michael Jackson and his relationships with younger boys.

In a report by Reuters, Abloh maintains that he never really knew about the documentary prior to designing the collection and that he wanted to showcase the positive side of MJ. “I am aware that in light of this documentary, the show has caused emotional reactions," Abloh said. "I strictly condemn any form of child abuse, violence or infringement against any human rights.”

Louis Vuitton isn't the only company to take a stand against the King of Pop. Radio stations around the world have banded together to stop playing MJ's music. The response Jackson has received is very similar to that of R. Kelly after the Surviving R. Kelly series came out.

The pieces that have been pulled were reportedly inspired by the "Billie Jean" music video.
