Lil Pump had concert dates booked for the fall. The tour has been canceled, however, which is unfortunate for both Pump and his fans. The entertainer was meant to kick off his string of shows in Canada on September 28.
The rapper is said to have been lined up to earn approximately $ 70K per performance. The 15 dates that were thrown out the window represent a steep loss of $1,050,000.
A representative from his camp had announced the disappointing news in a statement.
"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Lil Pump's 'Harverd Dropout Tour' has been canceled. Refunds will be provided at point of purchase. We apologize for any inconvenience."
Although the reason for the cancellation has yet to be confirmed, it is likely linked to the artist's legal issues. Last month, Pump announced he was heading to jail for violating his probation.
His appearance with Kanye West on Saturday Night Live this past weekend came as a surprise for some. Yeezy is planning some "Free Pump" merch as his collaborator preps for his lockup. The young rapper might be set to make some dough from the inside this way, track royalties and the like aside.
Lil Pump was also supposed to drop his full-length project entitled "Harverd Dropout." The release has been delayed multiple times. The last update had the drop set for September 14. A new date has yet to be announced.
