The alleged Chicago attack that happened to Jussie Smollett a few weeks ago has become a controversial topic since many people believe the Empire actor could have possibly staged the horrible event. "We believe Jussie Smollett Lied about being the victim of a hate crime and being assaulted," Najee Ali, a social and political activist said about the actor. "And for us, it's a slap in the face."
Another group of people has taken their disbelief in Jussie to another level after two parody posters of Jussie popped up in Los Angeles, mocking his allegations citing Black Panther and BlacKkKlansman. Both posters appeared near Fox Studios in Century City that sees Jussie's face photoshopped - one reads "Black Prankster" while another shows Jussie wearing a MAGA hat. Both pieces were signed by street artist Sabo who is the same person responsible for the Meryl Streep "She Knew" posters after the Harvey Weinstein scandal, TMZ reports.
Among the many people sounding off about the possible attack was Cardi B who said that if it was fake, Jussie really messed up Black History Month.
"I'm really disappointed in him," she said. "I feel like he fucked up Black History Month, bro. Like, damn. I'm not gonna say, yet. Until he say it out his mouth that it was fake and the shit was staged, I don't want to completely blame him, because somebody I was talking to they said police in Chicago are racists. So they might probably try to frame him and make him look like he's a liar. But if he's not, than bro you fucked up, for real. Like, why would you do that?"
