A lot of the people that supported Jussie Smollett when he claimed he was a victim of a hate crime are beginning to distance themselves from him after police revealed that the actor may have staged his own attack. Although Smollett has denied these allegations, things are overall not looking too great for him right now. Cardi B hopped on Instagram earlier today to add her two cents to the situation and like most people, she's disappointed.
"I'm really disappointed in him," she said. "I feel like he fucked up Black History Month, bro. Like, damn. I'm not gonna say, yet. Until he say it out his mouth that it was fake and the shit was staged, I don't want to completely blame him, because somebody I was talking to they said police in Chicago are racists. So they might probably try to frame him and make him look like he's a liar. But if he's not, than bro you fucked up, for real. Like, why would you do that?"
Cardi B continued to say that if Smollett did stage his attack, his placing more harm on minorities who've been targeted by the Trump administration, saying, "Then you gave Donald Trump immunity to fuckin' laugh at n***as and shit. Make mothafuckas look bad."
However, Cardi B stated that she's giving Smollett the benefit of the doubt because of her own experience with police.
