According to The Blast, a New Jersey federal has granted Juelz Santana's motion to push his sentence back. The rapper was initially supposed to head into prison on Jan 30th, 2019 but his surrender date has now been delayed until Feb. 28th, 2019. The rapper will be heading to Georgia in mid-February to head to Tyler Perry's Reunion shoot at Perry's studio in Atlanta.

The rapper recently made the request. Juelz Santana argued that it was vital for his career, saying Tyler Perry's Reunion shoot is "connected to his participation in the television show ‘Love & Hip Hop.’ It is crucial to his professional career that he be able to participate, and it will provide closure for him as he embarks on his term of imprisonment.”

Juelz Santana was indicted of federal firearm charges in early 2018. The charged were related to an incident that happened at the Newark Liberty International Airport when TSA found a .38-caliber Derringer in his luggage. He later posted $500K bond. Santana entered a guilty plea in December, resulting in a 27-month sentence behind bars.
