As previously mentioned, Saturday Night Live is set to return to the air tomorrow, September 28th and to celebrate the start of the 43rd season, JAY-Z and Ryan Gosling will be appearing as special guests on the show.
Before it airs just a little over 24 hours from now, Hov & Gosling have teamed up to shoot its usual promo clip. Taking two comedic takes at the clip, Ryan first asks Jay how excited he’ll be so he can try to match his level. In typical Hov fashion, the NYC legend acts too cool for school and doesn't say a word.
For the second take, the La La actor revealed that he’ll be hosting tomorrow’s night show with musical guest Jay Z, before reminding How that he saw him at Coachella. Hov calmly responded with “I remember,” with the two then laughing together thereafter.
It’s unclear at the moment as for what songs Jay will be performing on the season premiere, but it’s safe to say they will be from his newly released 4:44 album. The performance will serve as a nice little warm up before Jay takes his talent on the road this Winter for his “4:44” Tour, along with newly-announced opener Vic Mensa. Peep tour dates here.
Check out the SNL promo clip (below) and be sure to set your DVR’s now for 11:30 PM EST on NBC.
