"Redemption" will be dropping on June 15.

After a long three-year interval for a new Jay Rock album, fans no longer have to wait much longer as the Watts spitter has just announced the release date for Redemption. TDE is full of talented artists and while Kendrick Lamar may always be labeled the most popular of the bunch, they are all talented musicians with the ability to create lasting and meaningful projects. With the Championship Tour taking off, the label's collective genius has never been more on display than it is now. With the release of last week's "Win," it appears as though we will not have to wait much longer for Jay Rock's next album as it will drop next month.

TDE's CEO hinted recently that the album was nearly finished and now we know it will be hitting the digital shelves on June 15. Along with the announcement of the release date, Jay also showed off Redemption's artwork on his Instagram. As TDE will be dropping previously unreleased songs by way of their official Spotify playlist, much of Rock's work will be included as part of his upcoming solo effort. With June currently stacked in terms of high-profile album releases, Jay Rock is a welcome addition to the bunch as 90059 was released nearly three years ago with his supporters staunchly missing his musical ability.

Will you be looking out for Redemption come mid-June? What do you think of the cover art? Let us know in the comments.
