It looks like J. Cole has been a busy man these past few weeks. After being spotted in the studio working with Wale, the Dreamville rapper was caught Tuesday night shooting a music video with Detroit lyricist Royce Da 5’9”.
While its not confirmed what the two lyrical emcees were shooting, it’s safe to assume it was the video for their anticipated collaboration, which could possibly be titled “Magical Moments.” The two were first spotted working together back in July when Royce shared some photos of them in the studio in Detroit, leaving the caption “Magical Moments,” which made us believe that's the title of their record. However, who knows when we’ll be able to hear the collab or where it’ll live on, but it looks like it’s going to be a single of sorts when it does drop.
Last week, Royce took to Instagram to share a photo of him wearing a ridiculous cash-printed suit, which he said “would make sense later,” while leaving a few camera & film roll emoji's in the process. So it’s possible he was shooting another video, or maybe the same one, but one thing is for sure, Royce has some new heat on the way.
Just a couple days ago, rumors started circulating online that Royce & Preemo’s highly anticipated PRhyme 2 project will be dropping March 16. The date hasn't been confirmed, but we do know the project is already done, and is right around the corner so it seems likely.
