One of the most beloved players from the last 20 years is "Iso" Joe Johnson. He was one of those players that always used to excite supporters, and for the last few years, fans have been able to watch him shine in Ice Cube's Big3. The last time we saw Johnson in the league, he was playing for the Houston Rockets, all the way back in 2018. Now, the former star is 40 years old, and he has been jonesing for another NBA opportunity.
With numerous players going into COVID-19 protocols, various teams have had to sign players to 10-day contracts as a way to bolster their rosters. No team is safe at this point, including the Boston Celtics, who have officially made Johnson a part of their short-term plans.

According to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN, the 40-year-old will now be a member of the Celtics roster for at least 10 days. From there, the team will get to decide whether or not he will stick around. Of course, Johnson was drafted by the Celtics 20 years ago, so this is a huge opportunity for him to play in front of the Boston fans again.
Only time will tell whether or not Johnson can relive some of that magic. Stay tuned to HNHH for more updates from the basketball world.
