Future wasn't feeling it.

Jay-Z's single "Kill Jay-Z" ruffled a few feathers when it premiered as the intro for 4:44. The obvious Kanye West jab caught most of the nation's attention, but Jay's shot at Future also raised eyebrows. "Never go Eric Benét," raps Jay. "I don't even know what you woulda done/ In the future other niggas playin' football with your son." The line is an obvious reference to baby Future, the child of Ciara and The WIZRD rapper. Ciara is now married to NFL star Russell Wilson, who is a physical force on the field and has secured a Superbowl ring. Future has taken shots at Wilson and Ciara's relationship, but he didn't take too kindly to Jay's reference of his former relationship. While on Atlanta’s Hot 107.9, Future revealed how the conversation between him and HOV went after he heard the line.

First Future claims that Jay-Z was making excuses, saying he didn't mean it like that. “You supposed to be biggin’ up me," he explained. "I come from the streets, you come from the streets…we’re supposed to give it no negative attention for a hot line that’s something that’s always gonna be out.” He keeps it cool, but you can tell Future feels some type of way.
