Ciara and Russell Wilson both posted on Instagram yesterday in a coordinated effort to convince people that they're taking the high road after having their relationship ridiculed by Ciara's ex, Future. In an episode of Freebandz radio, on Apple Music, Future was much more candid than usual, perhaps receiving a bit of a confidence boost from the release of his new album, saying that Wilson does "exactly what she tell him to do," and that,
He not being a man in that position. He not tellin' her, 'Chill out with that on the internet. Don't even talk to him. I'm your husband! You better not even bring Future's name up!' If that was me, she couldn't even bring his name up. She know that. She couldn't even bring her exes' names up.
Although it's by no means an explicit response, Ciara posted a photo of herself in towering heels with the caption "Rise Above."
Wilson also had his say, with a more pointed post. The photo (below) is of Future Zahir, the son of Future and Ciara, kissing Sienna, the daughter of Wilson and Ciara. He says in the comments that "All that matters" is "#Love."
Drama aside, Future's got a new album out. Have a listen:
