Willow Smith recently shared that she used to self-harm herself when she was just 10-years-old after the fame of her track "Whip My Hair." Her revealing a dark time in her life sparked Eve to talk about her dark moments during her hosting duties on The Talk. “I call it my ‘dark hole’ period, my dark period," Eve said to her co-hosting ladies.
“I was out of a toxic relationship, I didn’t have a TV show, I didn’t have a record deal. I was just kinda like, what is happening with my life? So I started drinking, a lot,” she explained. “I started drinking, and drinking, and drinking because I didn’t want to deal with my emotions. I didn’t have anybody to really talk to. I was even popping Xanax and drinking to numb my pain.”
The "Let Me Blow Ya Mind" singer said her turning point was when she got a DUI in 2007. She admitted that she had to wear an ankle bracelet and that forced her to deal with her issues. “I prayed myself through it. I finally started figuring out the things that I needed to do to make myself healthy," she added.
