There have been a lot of accusations floated out, both in the news media and online, that Donald Trump isn't exactly what you might call an equal opportunity kind of guy. Whether it's his comments about Mexicans or his implied support for white supremacists after the incident in Charlottesville, VA last year, the President hasn't exactly done a great job at quelling any suppositions of racism. More recently, he's been dealing with his controversial "s**thole" remark. However, despite all this evidence to the contrary, his son Eric Trump doesn't believe he's racist.
In a recent interview on Fox and Friends, the Donald's son proved his non-racist point by following it up with: "he only sees one color: green." Not a great start, but he kept going. "That is all he cares about, he cares about the economy. He does not see race," continued 45's offspring. "He is least racist person I ever met in my entire life." There can only be one more question: if Donald Trump is the least racist person his son has ever met, how many people has Eric Trump met exactly?
Of course, Trump continues to trumpet the fact that unemployment numbers are down substantially, although they're still not as low as the numbers for, say, white people. The jury is still out on whether the President's administration is making positive moves on the race front, but Eric Trump is going to have a hard time explaining this TV clip to a few people.
