On Friday, DJ Khaled introduced us to the latest addition in his discography. Father Of Asahd had been teased for over a year before it officially dropped and this time around, the mega-producer's overall scheme was different. Instead of loading us with three or four singles in the weeks leading up to the album's release, Khaled chose to leave fans waiting until May 17 to hear all that he had been working on. One thing we were expecting was a long list of collaborators and features and as always, Khaled came through. With his son Asahd on board as an executive producer, the Khaled family were able to nab 21 Savage and Cardi B for "Wish Wish," building on their previous "Bartier Cardi" chemistry.
With Cardi having been confirmed for the record weeks ago, her fanbase was tuned into the drop from the start, checking out her latest verse and going crazy on social media. Now, a new video has been unveiled for the song, showing Bardi in front of a flaming set of motorcycles. 21 Savage and DJ Khaled stand on some pallets in a warehouse, playing off one of the Atlanta-based artist's bars.
DJ Khaled has been releasing plenty of visual accompaniment to support his new album. There is more on the way so stay tuned.
