DJ Carnage weighs in why he's salty toward G-Eazy, Drake vs. XXXTentacion & more.

Last week, we posted up the first part of an exclusive interview with DJ Carnage. Now, the second part has arrived, and Carnage holds nothing back. Coming off the release and announcement of Young Martha, his collaboration EP with Young Thug, the producer has been steady enjoying the rising success of the project's first single "Homie." Now, he's back with even more insight, sharing his thoughts on G-Eazy, Drake, XXXTentacion, and more.

In case you don't know, Carnage and G-Eazy formerly collaborated on an EP called Step Brothers, which dropped back in March. However, it would appear that things have changed since then. When asked about G-Eazy, Carnage shakes his head and says "Yeah, he's definitely going to need me for another project cause his music that's not with me is not that great. But I'm here to help him, we're blood, and I'll be there to save him, whenever he trickles back down after the Step Brothers hype."

He also weighed in on the notorious XXXTentacion / Drake debacle, which might go down in history as X's first of many mainstream controversies. Carnage brings an interesting perspective to the table, as someone who has relationships with both artists. He reflects on chilling with Drake, stating: "I was talking to Drake, and we were just talking about artists...We would always throw ideas off each other, and basically, I brought up X, like "you hear of this guy?"" Carnage notes that Drake did confirm having heard of X, but unfortunately goes no deeper than that.

It's an entertaining conversation, so you should most definitely check out the full interview. As for Carnage's upcoming music, the Martha Stewart homage Young Martha drops September 22nd, so keep an eye out for that.
