In less than 24 hours, Curren$y drops off his second single off of his upcoming project with Lex Luger. The project is due at midnight so to build anticipation, Spitta delivers another hard-hitting track off of the project. Curren$y has one of the most laid back flows in hip hop and Lex Luger's innovated the sound of trap with his signature haunting synths, orchestra strings and 808 drums. The two of them are an unlikely duo that end up meshing together perfectly. Yesterday, the duo dropped "Pressure" and a little bit later, he's hitting us with "I Know". Another hard hitting effort from the both of them.
Curren$y flexes his squad on this one. He states the difference between himself and many others. On the hook, he's letting us know what his team consists of: pimps, hustlin' ass bitches, cold hearted killers & drug dealers. While you may be nervous in their presence, Curren$y assures you that he's always keeping his cool. Lex Luger provides some trunk-rattling production, as expected. It's a tough joint that can be played in many of scenarios. As said previously, the two contrast in styles. Curren$y's part makes the song fitting for a chill time smoking out where as Luger's production will make you want to ride around with a ski mask and cause havoc.
The long awaited EP between the two, Motivational Speech, is set to drop later tonight. The new EP is another project to add to Curren$y's expansive catalog. This year alone, he's already dropped four project, with this one being the fifth. Aside from this EP, he's already been teasing other collaborative projects with Freddie Gibbs, Harry Fraud and Big K.R.I.T. as well.
