Cardi B has become the success story of 2017 rap. You've definitely heard it before, so we'll spare you the details this time around. The stripper-turned-rapper has officially left her Love & Hip-Hop reality star days in the dust, as she achieves new heights of fame each day, ushered into new and exclusive circles of fame that she was once not privy too. Even so, she's remained the outspoken, hilarious individual that we came to love on Love & Hip-Hop: New York, just watch any recent Instagram video she's uploaded.
As 2017 comes to close soon enough, and Thanksgiving just behind us, Cardi is counting her blessings. Her biggest single to date, a chart-topping one at that, that gave her a crown once owned by Lauryn Hill, "Bodak Yellow," is now certified triple platinum. The news of "Bodak Yellow" going platinum 3x arrived last week, but with Thanksgiving, Cardi B took a moment to give thanks to her fans, while also teasing that new music is on the way, for real.
Cardi says we can look forward to a new single from the NY spitter in early December-- which is right around the corner. In her Instagram post she writes, "I’m so thankful .This song change my life and help me change a lot of people around me life’s.Thank you all for your support .Next single comes out early December."
In a follow-up Instagram post immediately after, Cardi B gives thanks to her boo too, Offset, writing, "Thankful for you," alongside some pertinent emojis (heart eyes, hearts, crowns, you get it). In case you've been living under a rock, the two are engaged, although there's no date set yet for their wedding.
Cardi B recently previewed a banger on her Instagram, so perhaps this is a taste of the new single. Keep your eyes peeled as we head into the month of December, and we'll do the same.
