Cardi B has bangers on deck.

Despite the fact that Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow" catapulted her into near-superstardom, we have yet to get an official follow-up single, let alone a debut album. Still, Cardi's breakout hit proved she could hold her own on the mic, and if she can continue where she left off on "Bodak Yellow," her album should very well cement her as one of the game's most promising up-and-comers. Yet, aside from a guest appearance on Migos' "Motor Sport," G-Eazy's "No Limit," and Juicy J's "Kamastura," Cardi and her label have decide to take a slow-and-steady approach where new music is concerned. There was actually supposed to be a freestyle in October, but Cardi confirmed that Atlantic was waiting for the right time. Well, perhaps that time is coming up.

Cardi recently took to Instagram to preview a new, untitled song in a short clip, and while it's hard to get a full impression, it sounds like it has some potential. From the sound of it, it looks as if Cardi will be going a little gangsta with it, rapping "I'm trying to chill and make bangers, tell all these lil bitches they in danger, the thing on my hip whip bitches into shape." Once the beat kicks in, it, Cardi continues to hold it down before the clip cuts short.

It's unclear whether or not this untitled track will end up appearing on her upcoming album, but we do know she has been working hard on making a memorable project. In her Rolling Stone cover story, Cardi teased the album's process, saying "I got six, seven solid songs that I like, but I wonder if a month from now, I'm going to change my mind." With that level of potential indecision, it could be a minute before this album drops. And when it does, we'll be happy to let you know.
