R&B songstress Teena Marie passed away Sunday (Dec. 26). She was 54-years-old. Details of the singer's death are scarce but she reportedly passed away in her sleep and was discovered in her Los Angeles home by her daughter Alia Rose AKA Rose LeBeau. Marie's passing was first discovered by journalist/author Roland Martin, who took to Twitter to report on the sad news. The singer's publicist, Jasmine Vega, eventually confirmed reports. Marie's manager, Mike Gardner, also confirmed her death to CNN.

Rapper Game lost the holiday spirit quickly on Christmas Eve as a result of being robbed while shopping for gifts at a California mall.


After the 'My Life' rhymer bought presents at the Westfield Topanga Mall in Canoga Park, Calif., he returned to his friend's vehicle to find out that $75,000 and several pieces of jewelry were missing. He then took to his Twitter to share the bad news.

Troubled MC Charles Hamilton has continued his pattern of erratic behavior by allegedly assaulting a police officer in Ohio last week.


According to his case information, which hit the 'net yesterday, Hamilton was arrested on Friday, December 10, in Cleveland, Ohio, for assault, after he reportedly caused a disturbance at a number of bars. When police attempted to subdue him, the rapper apparently struck an officer in the face.

Hip-Hop star DMX will end 2010 with a year-long prison term, as the rapper's probation was officially revoked in Arizona today (December 16th).


The Maricopa County Superior Court revoked the rap star's probation from 2009, stemming from a conviction on fraud charges, identity theft, assault and a variety of other misdemeanor charges.
