YoungBoy Never Broke Again has a promising rap career ahead of him at such a young age. The rapper dropped out of school at 9th grade to focus on his rap career but was later arrested and sent to a detention center due to a robbery that he allegedly committed. Despite the legal troubles, his talents were noticed and landed him a record deal with Atlantic. Now that the goal is accomplished, he has some other things planned in the near future.
YoungBoy Never Broke Again announced that he'll be heading back to school to get his high school diploma. During a short video, he says "Ahhaaa, I'm going to public school. They accepted me in public school," he says. He later revealed that he'll be heading to a school in his hometown of Baton Rouge, LA at Scotlandville Magnet High School. YoungBoy Never Broke Again's done well for himself at a young age despite his legal issues. He's regarded as one of the rap's rising star and has developed relationships and co-signs from some of the biggest names within hip hop.
A few weeks after dropping his AI Youngboy project, he was given a suspended sentence of 10 years, three years of probation, 250 hours of community service and a $5000 fine for his involvement in a drive-by shooting. Since then, he's promised the judge that he's committed to doing right in his life and it seems that he's upholding his end of the bargain by taking the necessary steps to receive his high school diploma.
Aside from from his studious endeavors, he recently released his Ain't Too Long mixtape at the top of the month which came with the single "War Wit Us." The project came as a surprise considering that in late August, it was revealed that he'd be dropping his Broken Hearted mixtape in September which has yet to see the light of day. Most recently, he announced that he and Lil Uzi Vert would be releasing a joint mixtape together. There's yet to be a release date for the project but hopefully it ends up dropping before the year ends.
