Her absence was felt during her social media break but Nicki Minaj has finally returned and she's done so with a vengeance. Nicki went from not posting anything for four months to sharing videos and photos on a daily basis. While the change is drastic, it could not be welcomed any further as her loyal fans missed her dearly. The Harajuku Barbie posted an image of herself looking amazing on her Instagram, announcing that the long-awaited "Chun-Li" video was finally on the way. After multiple teasers and trailers, the music video is officially set to be dropping this Friday.
The photo Nicki chose is of herself, rocking one of her signature latex looks and looking as thick as she's ever been. While the picture is not understated in the least bit, the caption is notably less attention-grabbing, casually announcing the video's release date. The rapper wrote, "Heads hiiiigh. Kill’em wit da flow. #ChunLi VIDEO FRIDAY."
Minaj has been sharing fan videos for the last several days, including some recorded by Reginae Carter, Amber Rose, and Kourtney Kardashian. "Chun-Li" was one of two songs that the artist released earlier this month, marking her return to music and wowing her fans in the process. Let us know if you'll be tuned in Friday for the release of the video. In the meantime, check out one of the teasers here.
