It was a rough summer for natural disasters in the United States, with hurricanes ravaging parts of Texas, Florida and Puerto Rico. Couple those horrifying events with the devastating earthquake that struck several parts of Mexico as well, and you've got a great many individuals who were in need of some help. Luckily, Jay-Z streaming service Tidal was present and accounted for in the fundraising department last week, helping to add to the relief efforts for all of those aforementioned natural disaster through the third annual Tidal X benefit concert.

According to Variety, Jay-Z and company raised $3.7 million in support of those affected by the hurricane and earthquake disasters from earlier in 2017. All of the accrued funds will be distributed among organizations that include Empire State Relief and Recovery Effort for Puerto Rico, Global Giving, All Hands Volunteers, Kids in Need Foundation, Direct Relief, One America Appeal, Greater Houston Community Foundation, Miami Community Foundation, Habitat for Humanity in Puerto Rico, and more.

The concert, which lasted for more than six hours, saw Cardi B, Chris Brown, Hov and his wife BeyoncĂ© come through, giving fans an unforgettable evening of entertainment. Other performers that took the stage included Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Luis Fonsi, Yo Gotti, A$AP Ferg, Vic Mensa, Fifth Harmony, Joey Bada$$, Jadakiss, Iggy Azalea, A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Tee Grizzley, Rapsody, and many more. Barcardi, who acted as the presenting sponsor, already committed $1.3 million specifically to the concert. Monster, Decode Cannabis and Jetlux were also sponsors for the show. Fans can relive the higlights from that special night in Brooklyn and also lend their hand in fundraising efforts here.

Speaking of cash, Jay is currently spending a lot of it on his new Bel-Air estate that he purchased with Queen B. With all of the changes being made to the property, including $750,000 for a living space underneath the pools, could run the entire bill for their new home close to $100 million. It's not like they can't afford it, let's be real, but that's still an insane amount of coin to be dropping on your dream house (and the land it sits on).
