After releasing his comeback mixtape, Juelz Santana has been hinting at the possibility of a full Dipset reunion. Shortly after dropping God Will'n, 'Elz, Cam'Ron and Jim Jones announced a reunion concert commemorating the 10 year anniversary of the release of Diplomatic Immunity. Now Santana says that there may be a new full album in the works.
Chopping it up with HHS87, Juelz says that Dipset plans to record together and see what comes out of it, "We definitely going to get back in the studio and start working on some music and if the vibe is good and the music is coming out the way it's supposed to come out. We going to put that record out." If they do drop a reunion LP they want it to mirror their first album together, "We've been talking about it, we want to do it right. The first Diplomatic Immunity album was a double-CD classic," he said. "So if we give the people something, we got to give them something close to that."
Talking about the reunion concert at B.B. King's in New York Juelz likes the three members of Dipset coming together because he feels they influenced a lot of other artists, "It's always good to be on stage with Cam and Jim," he said. "I didn't know 10 years went by so fast though, that's a beautiful thing for us to be pushing that 10th Anniversary of Dipset, I'm proud of that. We set real high standards out there for crews so it's a good thing."
