The Cleveland Cavaliers are reportedly willing to trade 26-year old center Tristan Thompson, according to The Vertical's Shams Charania.

The report comes just hours after the Cavs suffered a 34-point drubbing at the hands of the shorthanded Toronto Raptors, their second consecutive blowout loss, and seventh defeat in the last 10 games.

Thompson, who is due $36 million over the next two seasons, is currently averaging just 5.3 points and 5.7 rebounds in 19 minutes of action per game. He has only played in 21 games thus far and he's posting the worst numbers of his career across the board.

Still, the Cavs reportedly view him as an asset they can move "in the right deal" before the NBA's February 8th trade deadline.

"Multiple NBA teams have cited Tristan Thompson as an asset Cleveland is willing to move in the right deal, such as one for the Los Angeles Clippers’ DeAndre Jordan. Nevertheless, the superstar talent of Oklahoma City’s Paul George or New Orleans’ DeMarcus Cousins, each deserving of that Nets first-rounder, won’t see the light in this trade market as of right now, league sources said, as those teams are fully focused on winning with each respective player."

DeAndre Jordan's name has come up in several trade rumors this season, including reports that the Cavs and Bucks are interested. The 29-year old center is averaging 11.8 points, 14.9 rebounds and one block per game for the 20-21 Los Angeles Clippers.

According to The Ringer, the Cleveland Cavs would have to include the Brooklyn Nets' first round pick, which they acquired in the Kyrie Irving trade, as part of any deal for DJ.
