Both Vince Staples and Tyler, The Creator dropped some stellar projects this year.
Vince with his amazing beat selective project Big Fish Theory and Tyler with his Scum Fuck Flower Boy album that highlights his beliefs and fearless individualism. The duo has now come together to embark on a 23-stint tour. Tyler shares the news on Instagram with a poster that shows his album's bee symbol and the goldfish that fronts Vince's album.
They will begin their trek in Vancouver on January 26th hitting up San Diego, Denver, Atlanta, Miami, Toronto, Philadelphia, New York, Detroit, Chicago, Milwaukee and more. Tickets will go on sale this Friday, November 17th.
Since their albums have been released and in between planning their tour, Tyler and Vince have been both making moves (Tyler's GOLF apparel) and trying to make moves (Vince's call to direct African American Horror Story).
GOLF recently unveiled its Winter collection, for a limited time only, that's filled with bomber jackets, t-shirts, chinos, and hats that compliment Tyler's aesthetic. The rapper will for sure be rocking these garments on stage during his tour, just as he did with GOLF's Spring collection.
As for Vince he recently shared how he wants to venture into the T.V. lane and take part in FX's American Horror Story, a series with past themes such as cultists, carnivals, haunted hotels, asylum patients, covens, and more.
"FX should let me direct the next season of AHS I got this idea about a blackout in the projects," Vince tweeted. "African American Horror Story @FXNetworks @AHSFX let’s talk numbers."
Whether Vince was taken seriously or not, his idea doesn't sound half bad and with his proven talent in the music game, there's no doubt he couldn't kill it in another entertainment lane.
