Tyrese ain't playing.

Tyrese is a man of many talents. The singer/actor has proven his ability to do both to an exceptional degree. Recently, he's been tied up in a feud with The Rock feud with The Rock over the upcoming "Fast And The Furious" spin-off which has led Tyrese to be quite upset. However, what better way to air out your anger and grief than with music. The last project we received from Tyrese was two years a go when he dropped Black Rose. The project was met with positive reception. However, it seems that he's planning on dropping another album in the near future but it won't be an R&B project.

Tyrese took to Instagram today to announce that he has a rap album on the way. He posted a picture of himself, alongside Jay-Z and the President of Urban Music at RCA Records, Mark Pitts, on Instagram and tagged several major industry personality such as Charlamagne tha God, DJ Envy, Dr. Dre and others. In the caption, he said that "Asked anybody I tagged about this new album...... This new album is inspired by Jay-Z My motto is #IDentityTheftDoubleAlbum is Jay’s spirit, PAC’s Soul and Sonically Dre’s Ears...... I know your first instincts is to say GTFOH put me in the ( Singer and Actor box and throw away the key )...but you will see folks very very soon that this rap album is far from play play," he continues, "#BlackTy I came here this album will change #HipHop save this post....... #IDidThisForTheCulture #LaughNowDickRideLater"

He later posted another little video to his Instagram which previewed an upcoming song from the album. While it does show Tyrese dropping some serious bars, it seems that Future may have had some sort of involvement in the song. He says it's a reference track of an apparent collaboration with Future. He also says in the caption that he'll be "pressing play at the #RocNation offices soon.... not interested in deal, already signed myself." So it'll be interesting to see what exactly Tyrese ends up delivering on his upcoming rap album.
