According to a report from TMZ, famous actor & R&B singer Tyrese checked himself into a Los Angeles hospital Thursday night after experiencing some chest pains after being in court all day with his ex-wife.
Sources say Tyrese went back to his hotel after leaving the courthouse, and that’s when he started having the pain in his chest. He apparently felt dehydrated as well, so he decided to play it safe & go to the hospital for precautionary reasons. The "Fast & Furious" actor is currently getting fluids for dehydration and is about to undergo some tests to understand why he's having these chest pains.
This news come just hours after Tyrese was in court all day fighting a lawsuit against his ex-wife Norma Gibson. Norma took the stand on Thursday to try to get a permanent restraining order against Tyrese for her and their daughter Shayla. She claims she's afraid of him at times, and once legal support to help her. However it doesn't look like she’ll win at this moment. In fact, Tyrese decided to wear “all black” to the courtroom today (after wearing all white yesterday), and says he wore the all-black outfit because it represented a funeral for abuse allegations against him.

In other news, Tyrese is currently working on a new rap album at the moment, which he say will change hip-hop forever. “Asked anybody I tagged about this new album...... This new album is inspired by Jay-Z My motto is #IDentityTheftDoubleAlbum is Jay’s spirit, PAC’s Soul and Sonically Dre’s Ears...... I know your first instincts is to say GTFOH put me in the ( Singer and Actor box and throw away the key )...but you will see folks very very soon that this rap album is far from play play.” Who knows when that’ll be dropping, but it’ll have some large shoes to fill with a claim like that when it does arrive.
