Philadelphia Eagles players, coaches and fans across the city of Philadelphia will come together today for the long awaited Super Bowl parade, the first in franchise history. Eagles fans have been celebrating ever since Sunday's victory against the New England Patriots but today's the day they've all been waiting for.
According to Tuesday's press conference, the 5-mile parade will kick off at 10:45 am outside of Lincoln Financial Field in South Philadelphia and will conclude with a ceremony at 1 pm at the Philadelphia Art Museum.
There will be 14 jumbotrons televising the parade and, as promised by Anheuser-Busch, parade-goers over the age of 21 along the route will receive a free bud light. The beer giveaway at select taverns stems from a comment made by Eagles right tackle, Lane Johnson, who told ESPN in August that he would give out free beer to everybody if the Eagles won the Super Bowl. Bud Light quickly responded with a tweet that read, "Win it all and the party is on us. Deal?"
There's no telling what kind of fuckery will be on display during and after today's parade, especially considering what went down in Philly in the hours after the Eagles won Super Bowl LII.
