The wait is over. After teasing a collaboration with Nicki Minaj since last year, Young Thug's "Anybody" has arrived and it has lived up to the high expectations for the most part. With Nicki Minaj dropping two singles of her own yesterday, both rappers are back in forceful fashion. Equally surprising fans, Nicki has been absent to start the year and Thugger previously claimed he would not release any new music for the entirety of 2018. His claim was made to support his brother who is deaf and mute and, while it was a great initiative to honor those who have hearing disabilities, the promise did not stand. Thug is finding alternate ways to bring awareness to the hearing impaired though with an official sign video.
His latest single "Anybody" was released yesterday with an official video interpreted fully in American Sign Language. A second music video is bound to be filmed to accompany the track but thus far, only the signed interpretation exists, catering to anybody who cannot listen to music in its fullest capacity. Complete with a female interpreter to sign Nicki's verse, the clip is simple in nature as much of your concentration gravitates to the lyrics in their movements.
Hopefully, this becomes the norm for Thugger as he looks to substitute his initial plans to not release music. With the video interpreted in ASL, his brother is likely to understand Thug and Nicki's lyrics. Watch the video above and let us know what you think.
