Projections for Tech N9ne's "Planet" album have also been reported.

The first-week sales projections for Tory Lanez' sophomore album Memories Don't Die are in. According to Hits Daily Double, Tory's second outing is expected to debut with 40,000 to 45,000 equivalent album units, 10,000 to 15,000 of that figure being made up of pure sales.

In 2016, Lanez' debut album I Told You debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 with 52,000 equivalent album units (32,000 in pure sales).

Meanwhile, Tech N9ne's 20th studio album Planet, also released Friday, is expected to move between 17,000 and 23,000 album equivalent units, with 12,000 to 16,000 of that number coming through in traditional sales.

The soundtracks for Black Panther and The Greatest Showman are expected to compete for No. 1. Official sales numbers from Billboard will be announced in just over a week's time.

Memories Don't Die features guest appearances from the likes of 50 Cent, Future, and Wiz Khalifa. Tory recently spoke to HNHH about the making of his new album, including the absence of Nicki Minaj, who was expected to appear on "Shooters." According to Tory, a text he sent Minaj regarding her verse on the song was taken the wrong way. "I think it maybe kinda came off a little bit arrogant, or I kinda said something I shouldn't have said about her verse, and she was like, 'well, n---a, it's not that serious, take my verse off the thing.' We was like, 'aight.' I love Nicki Minaj when it comes down to her music and the whole thing, but I'm not a reacher. Once a n---a says it's quiet, it's quiet...Maybe in the future when the time is right, we'll do something that's right, that we both feel comfortable with."
