The Golden State Warriors were in Atlanta Friday night to take on the Hawks at the Phillips Arena, and it looks like the stars were in attendance to watch. Falcons WR Mohamed Sanu, actor Chris Tucker and Migos rapper Quavo were all there to see Kevin Durant, Steph Curry, Klay Thompson and more ball out. The Warriors would come out victorious in a hard fought battle, winning 114-109, but not before suffering a little scare with Steph Curry rolling his ankle and leaving the game early. Durant would carry load and end the game with 28 points on 12-of-19 shooting for the Warriors. Then immediately following the game the superstar forward decided to walk over to Quavo and give him his game worn jersey right off his back.
Coincidentally, the Hawks announcer thought KD was going to give his jersey to some young fan or appreciative person for that matter, but that wasn't the case. “Some lucky young fan is going to get a jersey from Kevin Durant thats for sure, and Quavo is going to get it,” the announcer hilarious reacts to the surprise choice.
Quavo and the rest of Migos crew watched the Warriors play in Cleveland on Martin Luther King Day a few weeks ago and were hollering with Durant throughout that game. Durant said that was one of the highlights of that night, so it’s no surprise he decided to give the rapper his jersey Friday night.
