Titans end the streak.

The Tennessee Titans finally managed to pick up a win against the division rival Indianapolis Colts last night, snapping an 11-game losing streak which was tied for the league's longest active losing streak against one team.

Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota, who played despite a strained left hamstring, connected with speedy wide receiver Taywan Taylor with 5:29 left in the game to give the Titans a touchdown lead, and running back Derrick Henry tacked on a 72-yard touchdown run with 47 seconds left, securing Tennessee's 36-22 victory.

While the Titans offense finally woke up late in the game, they wouldn't have been in a position to win if not for kicker Ryan Succop who connected on five of five field goals, breaking the NFL record for most consecutive successful field goals inside of 50 yards. Succop hit field goals from 48, 32 and 40 yards in the first half and then added two more in the third quarter, one from 23 yards and another from 48. His streak is now at 47 consecutive FG made inside of 50 yards.

The Titans, 3-3, are now sitting atop the log jammed AFC South tied with the Jacksonville Jaguars and Houston Texans. Tennessee will travel to Cleveland in Week 7 for a matchup against the winless Browns.
