The self-proclaimed King of New York, Tekashi 6ix9ine is not letting the police slow him down. After his "Billy" video shoot was shut down promptly after the NYPD discovered that the rapper did not have the proper permits to be filming in the streets of Crown Heights, the video has been completed and will be released this Sunday according to Tekashi's Instagram page. The video appears to show footage of the NYPD shutting the event down, as well as material that was captured beforehand. 6ix9ine brought out hundreds of people, including many red bandana-toting gentlemen, for the clip as they back him by shouting the lyrics along with the rapper.
Tekashi69 posted the preview clip on his socials, continuing his claims of being at the top of NY in his caption: "EVERYTIME I SHOOT A VIDEO I SHUT THE CITY DOWN. HATE IT OR LOVE IT NEW YORK IS MINE." The "Billy" video does not look to be much different than the previous visuals for "Gummo," sticking with his gang mentality and showing out the block, yelling at the camera.
The rainbow-haired and rainbow-toothed Brooklynite has been involved in controversial reports for the last several weeks, culminating with his album release but the drama does not appear to have a definitive end. 6ix9ine continually hits up social media to talk and, at this point, whenever he opens his mouth, there's trouble. Will you be checking out the video come Sunday?
