Tekashi 6ix9ine continues to run his mouth, claims that he's the King of New York.

It's beginning to become apparent that Tekashi 6ix9ine enjoys being in the spotlight for the bold comments he makes in his Instagram videos, or on live streams. This time, 6ix9ine recorded an Instagram video, passing judgment on those who criticize him and referring to himself as the King of New York. To be completely honest, whether you love him or can't stand him, it's hard to argue that Tekashi isn't the most popping rapper to come out of NY right now. Does that make him the king of said state? That's debatable but he definitely deserves the recognition he's been receiving since he arrived on the scene.

There's an art to publicity and Tekashi 6ix9ine has completely nailed it, continually taping himself making outlandish comments and egging on his haters, much like LaVar Ball does. The Brooklyn rapper has a point when he says that, if he wasn't the King of New York, somebody would have stopped him by this point. Despite countless threats to attack him from notable gang-members in Los Angeles and San Antonio, Tekashi has gone relatively unscathed, other than a brief scuffle at LAX.

6ix9ine continues, "If I wasn't the King of New York, y'all wouldn't pay me no mind. If I wasn't the King of New York, y'all would be like 'Just let that fu--ing clown talk, that n----'s irrelevant.'" The man will find any way to keep his name in people's mouths, and that is commendable no matter how you view him.
