London Jae & Travis Scott's "Vodka" is an eerie and original banger.

Evil carnival vibes have been entrenched in hip-hop for years. From Eminem to Metro Boomin, producers have frequently gravitated toward the strange and mischievous. Today, Travis Scott is the latest to channel his inner trap Tim Burton. On London Jae's "Vodka," Travis played dual roles, providing both the chorus and the instrumental.

Employing a pitched down, drugged out loop, La Flame's beat is reminiscent of the iconic Dumbo scene where the titular elephant trips balls. Clearly, Travis has been honing his craft; if he's producing at this level, it wouldn't be surprising to see his name continue to pop up behind the boards.

Since La Flame is largely delegated to the chorus, London Jae is left holding it down on the vocal tip. No worries there; the capable rapper deftly navigates Travis' standout beat, holding it down with a Tip-esque drawl and dope mush-mouthed delivery. Something wicked this way comes.

Quotable Lyrics

Bank account loaded up with zero,
Poppin' Percocet in The Matrix feelin' like Neo
Fully loaded chopper I can shoot you through the peephole
Never going outside, beefing by the p.o
