London Jae's "Gunz & Roses" is a testament to the rapper's versatility.

London Jae has an appetite for destruction. Enter Gunz & Roses, the extended album from Hustle Gang's triple threat. Don't let the lengthy tracklist scare you off; there are plenty of bangers on deck, and Jae's flow and lyricism remains on point throughout. A student of T.I.'s graduating class, Jae brings out the Southern Hospitality en masse. With assists from Tip, Travis Scott, Kehlani, Yung Booke, and more, Jae manages to hold his own on the solo tip. If you're looking for melodies, Jae's got you. Bars? Jae's got you. Don't lack.

Tracks like "Clarity" find Jae coming through with some heartfelt vocals, reminiscent of YFN Lucci and Rich Homie Quan. One of the album's strongest moments arises on "Vodka"; over an eerie, carnival-esque instrumental from Travis Scott, Jae spits dexterous bars for your listening pleasure. It might be a lot to unpack on first listen, but the journey is well worth the time.
