Knicks' star Kristaps Porzingis left Tuesday night's game with an apparent left knee injury.

UPDATE: MRI confirms that Porzingis has suffered a torn ACL, ultimately ending his season early.

Original Story:

This might not be good news for New York Knicks fans. During Tuesday night’s game against the Milwaukee Bucks, star forward Kristaps Porzingis left the game early with an apparent knee injury.

The injury occurred in the second quarter when the All Star forward made an awkward landing after dunking over Bucks star Giannis Antetokounmpo. Porzingis fell to the floor, visibly hurt, and was helped off of the floor by two teammates, and he wasn't putting much weight on his left leg. He was eventually escorted to the locker room.

While we don’t know the severity of his injury quite yet, ESPN's Ian Begley took to Twitter to give an update, suggesting that Porzingus was doing better after the initial scare. He even said Porzingus was walking on his own and was said to be “ok” before going to the hospital.

Hopefully Porzingus wont have to miss extended time as he’s expected to be on LeBron James’ team for this year’s All-Star game in two weeks, but we’ll just have to wait and find out after an MRI.

This isn’t the first time Porzingis has had issues with his left knee either. Back in December, the Knicks’ franchise player previously injured his left knee costing him a couple games to be missed.

While we wait for further information or results on his MRI, check out the play where the injury occurred (below).
