Jay-Z and Beyoncé have purchased a new property in the Hamptons, and it's everything you'd expect from the billion dollar couple. According to a report from Trulia, the home is worth $26 million, and measures 12,000 square feet, not to mention the 1800 square foot guest cottage which also sits on two-acre property.
The purchase comes after the couple welcomed twins Rumi and Sir Carter earlier this year. The 7 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms should give the growing family plenty of space. The report also states that "the current owner carefully rotated the original house 90 degrees so the historic triple-height studio room (which faced north) is now a 30-feet high living room looking west over the pond."
Earlier this summer, it was reported that the couple were purchasing a $90 million mansion in L.A. The newly constructed house in Bel Air is said to be the most expensive home purchase in Los Angeles history. Prior to that, the Carters were spending $400,000 a month in rent at house in Miami.

In an interview with BBC released earlier today, Jay-Z spoke of what it's like to raise a young black family in Trump's America, remaining optimistic about the future. "I'm looking forward for what's next after [Trump,]" he said. "Usually when things are darkest, it's when light is on its way. I'm not fearful. I believe we're resilient. Especially black people, we've been through so much more than this guy. I'm looking at him, like this is a joke. I can't even say with all due respect -- with all disrespect. He's not a very sophisticated man. Until everyone's free, no one's free. If you oppress a certain people, everyone's in danger."
Jay-Z and Beyoncé will reportedly headline a hurricane benefit concert alongside next month. Roc Nation artists are expected to make appearances at the show. Find details here.
