Kendrick Lamar found himself on the list of hip-hop award winners this past weekend in London, copping yet another accolade for his work on DAMN. at the MTV EMA ceremony.

The rapper took home the prize for Best Video for "Humble," the lead single off of DAMN. and more than likely his most recognizable effort from that LP. He beat out fellow emcee Kyle, who nominated alongside Lil Yachty for the "iSpy" music video, as well as other nominees Foo Fighters ("Run"), Katy Perry and Migos ("Bon Appetit"), and Taylor Swift ("Look What You Made Me Do"). With its religious overtones and dynamic, eye-popping cinematography, the video for "Humble" takes it rightful place as the best visual we've seen for a track of any genre this year. If you haven't already, take a peep at that music video below.

As great as Kendrick's award win was, the biggest moment of the night for hip-hop fans was actually the first performance, which saw the Slim Shady himself take to the stage to give the audience a live interpretation of his newest single, "Walk on Water." Already polarizing Eminem fans with its subdued and more melodic approach to sonic combinations, the single has certainly made a big splash in just a few days on the market. Beyoncé, who lends her voice to the chorus, was not present at the EMA show. Instead, frequent Eminem collaborator SKylar Grey was on hand to fill in on female vocals. The performance from Em, as he stood in front of a backdrop showing a massive mountain range, was definitely one that wowed with its introspection. Check out some video footage from that part of the MTV EMA telecast here.

In other Kendrick Lamar news, the rapper was recently the subject of some Twitter thirsting from none other than Lindsay Lohan. The former child actress sent out a tweet last week that simply asked Kendrick to DM her on the platform, but there's no indication of whether or not he followed through on that request. Typically, Lamar uses his social media accounts to promote his music and tour schedule and seems to be a pretty private individual overall, so who knows if Lohan would have been better off just trying to get his number. All that being said, Twitter had a field day with the possibilities.

Congrats to Kendrick Lamar on the well-deserved EMA for Best Video!
