The nominees have been listed for this year's MTV European Music Awards. Taking the lead for most nominations is Taylor Swift, with six, and Kendrick Lamar right behind with three in the categories of Best Artist, Best Video and Best Hip Hop. Other popular names for the chance of going home with a trophy are DJ Khaled, Kyle, Eminem, Drake, Future, Post Malone, Khalid and SZA - whose "Love Galore" track featuring Travis Scott just hit platinum.
Kendrick was one of leading attendees of Forbes' Under 30 Summit in Boston on Tuesday where the 30-year-old shared some knowledge on what Dr. Dre taught him about the music industry. The wise words that Dre gave to Kendrick have clearly brought him a long way with seven Grammy wins already on his impressive resume.
"You gotta continue to work, you’re gonna make mistakes along the way, but you have to ask questions," Kendrick said, quoting Dre. “That’s something I’m learning now. I don’t know it all. I have to ask questions. I’m still fairly a new cat, as far as being a businessman.”
