The event will be Beyoncé's first time taking the stage since giving birth to twins.

Jay-Z and Beyoncé will perform a concert in aid of those affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma, US Weekly reports. The concert is set to take place Tuesday October, 17th at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn, New York. Other Roc Nation artists are expected to make appearances. This will be Bey's first performance since giving birth to twins Sir and Rumi Carter earlier this year.

Beyoncé, who grew up in Houston, gave a heartfelt speech following the devastation of Hurricane Harvey earlier this month. "Ya’ll are my family. Houston is my home," she said, speaking at St. John's United Methodist Church in the city. "I thank God that you're safe, your children are safe. I think that really matters is your health and your children and your family. I just wanna say I love you. I’ve been blessed so that I can bless other people and I ask of God to continue to do that for other people."

The singer also released a statement to the Houston Chronicle. "My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help," it reads. "I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor to implement a plan to help as many as we can."

Jay-Z is preparing to kick off his 4:44 tour October 27th, so the benefit concert will likely be a good indication of what to expect from the fall shows. Vic Mensa was recently announced as the opener for the tour, which suggests he may be one of the Roc Nation artists to appear.

Hov and Bey's November 2016 Get Out The Vote concert for Hillary Clinton included Chance The Rapper, Big Sean, and J. Cole as guests.

It is not yet known if the hurricane benefit will be live streamed. In the past, certain Jay-Z and Beyoncé performances have been available to watch through Tidal.

Further details should be revealed when an official announcement is made.
