Beyonce continues to support the people of Houston after the effects of Hurricane Harvey.

Beyonce is one of the biggest exports out of Houston. When Hurricane Harvey struck her hometown, she was one of the first celebrities to help in anyway she could. Recently, she headed to St. John's United Methodist Church in downtown Houston to show love and support for the people of her hometown.

Beyonce showed up to the church alongside her mother Tina and her daughter, Blue Ivy. Beyonce eventually took to the stage to give a moving speech to the crowd. St John's is her home church and has been since she was a child.

In the clip, she's heard saying "Ya’ll are my family. Houston is my home. I thank God that you're safe, your children are safe. I think that really matters is your health and your children and your family. I just wanna say I love you. I’ve been blessed so that I can bless other people and I ask of God to continue to do that for other people."

Earlier that day, Tina Knowles and former Destiny Child member Michelle Williams serving lunch to those that have been affected by flood. The two of them were seen wearing "BeyGOOD" aprons, which is Beyonce's charity foundation. BeyGOOD has had a big hand in helping set up relief funds for Hurricane Harvey victims.

In a statement to the Houston Chronicle when the effects of Hurricane Harvey began, she said "My heart goes out to my hometown, Houston, and I remain in constant prayer for those affected and for the rescuers who have been so brave and determined to do so much to help." the statement continued by saying, "I am working closely with my team at BeyGOOD as well as my pastor to implement a plan to help as many as we can."

Beyonce's pastor, Rudy Rasmus, has previously told TMZ that the singer keeps her charitable efforts on the low but has been having a huge impact in Houston when it came to creating relief funds. Aside from her donations and work with BeyGOOD, she is also headlining the "Hand In Hand" telethon on September 12th.
