With a collab project on the way, Chris Brown previews upcoming new music with Jacquees.

It’s safe to say we saw an increase in collaborative projects in 2017. Artists like Future and Young Thug, Big Sean and Metro Boomin, Offset and 21 Savage all dropped off some solid projects together, but unfortunately the RnB game was lacking a little bit in that department. Thankfully however that’s going to change this year as we found out last month that Chris Brown & Jacques have a joint project on the way, and today we get another taste of what it’s going to sound like.

Over the weekend, Chris took to his Instagram page to tease an upcoming song from the two R&B singers. While there’s no information on the song, like what its called or when it’ll be dropping, it does sound pretty fire for an R&B ballad.

From what we can hear, Chris croons about relationship issues and asking his girl to give him a chance to explain himself. “I only want one girl, I'm fighting for commitment/ Just listen to me girl, before you look for my replacement” he croons in the clip.

In addition to this upcoming project, Chris is also readying a new song with Diddy’s son, Christian Combs, that’s on the way, as well as another song with Scott Storch, which Trey Songz said he wanted in on. So if Chris’ 45-song album wasn’t enough for fans, it appears he has more on the way.

Check out the preview for Chris’ & Jacquees upcoming song (below) and let us know what you think! Who else would you like to see do a collab project this year?
