Fortunately for fans, Lil Wayne has been in the headlines recently more for his rapping exploits than his skateboarding. After previously revealing some producers on his upcoming I Am Not A Human Being II album, and that Kanye West would be heavily involved, Weezy now says he has around 90 tracks recorded for Dr. Dre.
In an interview with MTV, Tunechi talked about his relationship with the Aftermath producer, and said, via HHDX, he had laid down verses for around 90 songs for Dre, but is unsure which will be released. “I've always worked with Dre. I'm not sure if you guys know how Dre works, Dre always send you a song, so I done probably did like 90 songs for Dre,” Wayne added, “You just never know which one he gonna put out."
Weezy also touched on his own line of Beat By Dre headphones that he’s been working on with Dr. Dre, “I'll always be up to work with Dre, it's always cool with him," he said. "As far as the headphones, I'm super excited about that collaboration, I couldn't be more excited."
