Diddy used to have dreams of owning an NFL team, but now he says his dream is to straight up buy the entire league. Of course, the league isn't for sale, but you should still hear him out.
Diddy first quote-tweeted "Facts" on a tweet sent by CNN’s Keith Boykin which read, "Black players are 70% of the NFL. We have the power to defend Colin Kaepernick and Jemele Hill from the forces that would silence them."
Then, Diddy sent out a series of tweets regarding his dreams for the NFL, which include "a league where you can be yourself, have freedom to be a great human and protest for your people without being demonized for your beliefs."

Yesterday afternoon NFL commissioner Roger Goodell sent out a memo to all 32 NFL teams addressing the issue of players protesting the national anthem before games.
In the memo, obtained by NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport, commissioner Goodell states that the league believes "that everyone should stand for the National Anthem," and that "the controversy over the Anthem is a barrier to having honest conversations and making real progress on the underlying issues."
“Everyone at this point is frustrated by the situation,” Lockhart said. “The commissioner and the owners do want the players to stand. We think it is an important part of the game.”
President Trump has publicly called on NFL owners to put in place a rule that would force players to stand for the anthem and has encouraged owners to fire players that "disrespect the flag."
