Jalen Ramsey explains what happened with AJ Green.

Jacksonville Jaguars' star corner back Jalen Ramsey recently opened up about his fight with Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver AJ Green over the weekend, which resulted in both players being ejected from the game. Despite rumors, Ramsey says he didn't say any "deep, personal stuff" to Green, but admitted to verbally abusing the Pro-Bowl wide receiver.

Speaking to reporters on Wednesday, Ramsey gave his account of what transpired during Sunday's victory over the Bengals. According to NFL.com, Ramsey said that his game plan heading into games is, "lock receivers down, physically. And then mentally I live in their mind."

While Ramsey admits to talking shit to receivers, he says he never speaks about their wife, kids or family - and was just spitting "straight facts" to AJ Green out on the field.

"Yeah, I get out there, I do my thing. I talk shit. But I don't go personal. I don't talk about nobody's wife or nobody's kids or nobody's family. I don't do that. So that's untrue, that's not true at all. I think he even said that, though, there was nothing I said -- I didn't say nothing like that."

"I told him almost every play that he was weak, that he was soft," Ramsey said. "Them is straight facts. He just couldn't handle the truth. Those were facts. I told him that his time was almost up. I told him that it was easy, which it was. He had one catch for six yards.

"I was just out there spitting facts to him. And he got mad. And then people are trying to talk about the push, I mean I pushed him every single play. You can go back and look at the film, I pushed him every single play. I told him to stop putting his hand on me."

Additionally, Ramsey says players on the Cincinnati Bengals told him they knew he had won the battle as soon as AJ Green started jawing back at him.

"... Some people are mentally strong. He wasn't during that game. He wasn't mentally strong. I've talked to a few of his teammates afterwards, a couple guys I know, and they had told me, they were like, once A.J. started talking back we knew you had him because he don't ever talk."

At the end of the first half, Green put his hands on Ramsey, who retaliated by pushing him to the ground. Green then got to his feet, put Ramsey in a headlock and threw several punches at him after bringing him to the ground.

Ramsey also told reporters that he went to the Bengals locker room following their ejection because he "wanted to get his money's worth."

Per ESPN,

"I wanted my money's worth," Ramsey said. "I got kicked out for not doing anything. I did what the coaches and everybody told me not to do, not to fight back basically, just let him do whatever he was trying to do. I still got kicked out, so yeah, I wanted my money's worth."

"That pissed me off, because like I said, I thought I did the right thing in the moment and I still got kicked out," Ramsey said. "If I knew I was going to get kicked out, I would have got active. It's cool. Now I know what to do in that situation. If I'm ever in that situation again, best believe I'm going to get active out there."

Although they were ejected, neither player will face a suspension for the fight.

The Jags, 5-3, will host the Los Angeles Chargers this Sunday. The Bengals, 3-5, will travel to Tennessee for a matchup against the Titans.
