Winter is coming, but our Fire Emoji playlist stayed red-hot in November.

In 2016, HNHH launched one Spotify playlist to rule them all: FIRE EMOJI: The Hottest Hip Hop Songs Right Now.

The playlist is updated regularly and is representative of the best new releases in hip hop and R&B, or at least those that make it to Spotify.

Though the holidays may be fast approaching, that doesn't mean the quality of new releases in hip-hop music has gone cold. In fact, November saw some of the year's most anticipated material come to the fore and  earn a place on our well-known Spotify playlist. First, we had "Lemon," the lead single from N.E.R.D.'s upcoming album NO_ONE EVER REALLY DIES. The track gets an assist from an accent-less Rihanna and promised only good things for the rest of the group's new studio work. N.E.R.D. have since released another track with Future, called "1000," as a preview, which you can check out here.

Other massive tracks from the month that was include the NAV and Lil Uzi Vert collab "Wanted You," the latest from Tory Lanez called "I Sip" and several tracks off of PnB Rock's new long-form studio effort Catch These Vibes, including "Scrub" and "Lovin'," the latter of which features some vocal stylings from A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie. Big K.R.I.T., CyHi The Prynce, Miguel, Jazz Cartier, G-Eazy, Pi'Erre Bourne and others also made it onto our Fire Emoji list, as did 50 Cent, whose latest track "Still Think I'm Nothing" showcases the rapper's ability to effortlessly construct a hook-heavy delight. Make sure you check out all of those songs and more below.

Our current playlist contains songs from these projects as well as many others that were bumping throughout the month of November, along with some additional releases from back in September that are still very much a part of the conversation in the hip-hop community.
