The-Dream released his free 1977 project to acclaim from both fans and critics alike, and now has plans on re-releasing the project. After putting his The Love IV project on hold, he has decided to release 1977 available in stores and has previewed the new album cover.
Perhaps his time to record new music has been slim since taking the positing as Vice President of A&R at his label Def Jam. 1977 will be released in retail stores on December 18th.
While no announcements have been made about any new records on the LP, fans can probably expect some new material. Hopefully The-Dream is just gearing up promotion as a precursor to releasing The Love IV, or even another LP.
