We keep you up to date on everything going on in battle rap.

Our newest edition of battle rap updates comes with a couple of battles that pretty much everyone has been excited for. Bigg K and JC’s clash on the Rare Breed Entertainment stage has been released, as well as the long awaited K-Shine vs T-Rex battle from URL. And of course we can’t forget about King of the Dot, who gave us a couple of “Blackout 7” battle releases as well. Enjoy!

Bigg K vs JC

What’s New In Battle Rap (May 27)

This is a battle that fans everywhere have been waiting impatiently for. JC is considered by many to have one of the best pen games in battle rap. Bigg K has one of the meanest deliveries out there, and he’s got some nice bars of his own as well. It’s no wonder this was the main event for “Blood, Sweat, and Tiers 5”.

T-Rex vs K-Shine

What’s New In Battle Rap (May 27)

In this highly anticipated Harlem vs Harlem battle, former Dot Mob team members K-Shine and T-Rex clash at “N.O.M.E. 7”. The battle is pretty one sided by all accounts, but it’s not as bad as when Rex battled Charlie Clips, so at least there’s that.

Ness Lee vs Pass

What’s New In Battle Rap (May 27)

Two battle rap vets go head to head at this “Blackout 7” battle from King of the Dot. These two are undeniably talented and they both performed well enough to make this truly debatable.

Chedda Cheese & Carter Deems vs Marv Won & Quest Mcody

What’s New In Battle Rap (May 27)

This battle features two teams that are hilariously entertaining in very different ways. It’s obvious that this is a huge style clash, but that means there’s something for everybody here. Also, Quest’s cat dissing scheme is not to be missed.

Billy Boondocks vs Goodz

What’s New In Battle Rap (May 27)

It brings us pleasure to be able to type Billy Boondocks' name without writing about him getting body slammed or anything like that. Goodz is a bigger name than he usually gets, but Billy’s always been down to battle anybody.

Aye Verb and Hitman Holla Announced For Double Impact 2

What’s New In Battle Rap (May 27)

The first announcement for Double Impact 2 features two St. Louis legends. Double Impact, as most of you know, is a 2 on 2 event. URL is announcing each team separately, and the first team is Aye Verb and Hitman Holla.

Midwest Miles and X-Factor Announced For Double Impact 2

What’s New In Battle Rap (May 27)

In a decision that has been questioned by some (maybe many), URL has brought back Midwest Miles and X-Factor, two of the MCs that were a part of laying the foundation for Smack battles.

URL Drops Full Ascension Card

What’s New In Battle Rap (May 27)

Ultimate Rap League has released the full line up of battles for their “Ascension” event going down in a couple of weeks. A couple of battles of note are Cortez vs Prez Mafia, Young Kannon vs Money Bagz, and the return of Real Deal vs Reepah Rell. It also features Prep vs Rich Imnice, which is the new (often laughed at) stage name of Rich Dolarz.
